  校章の由来
                                              「高」を図案化し、鷹揚公園(弘前公園)にちなんで、
                                               鷹が天空に飛翔しようとする雄姿を表しています。
                                               未来への限りない発展を象徴するものです。
 
 
  本校のあゆみと特色
   西暦1900年(明治33年)に、青森県で最初の高等女学校として開校が告示され、
  2020年に創立120周年を迎えた伝統校です。校舎は弘前公園のお濠に面しており、
  生徒は落ち着いた環境の中で高校生活を送っています。平成7年度に設置された
  人文科に続いて、平成9年度からは普通科も男女共学となりました。平成22年度
  には人文科が募集停止となり、普通科6学級となるとともに、男子生徒が半数近
  くになりました。生徒の98%以上が大学等の上級学校進学を希望しており、毎年
  着実に成果をおさめています。
    本校は「文武両道」をモットーに掲げ、勉学と部活動の両面にわたって教師と生
  徒が一丸となって活動しています。探究活動にも力を入れており、総合的な探究
  の時間「Sakura Time」では、地域をフィールドとして一人一人が自らのテーマで
  探究活動に取り組むなど、地域と連携した特色ある学校づくりを目指しています。
    令和2年11月には創立120周年記念事業として新弓道場が竣工され、校内の
  ICT化も進んでおり、生徒は新しい環境で教育活動に取り組んでいます。

  進路状況
      本校生徒の98%以上が上級学校への進学を希望しています。そのため、進学する意義や、在学中に学んだことを今後の進路にどの
  ように生かしていくのかなどを考えさせながら、学校を挙げて指導に取り組んでいます。令和4年度の卒業生は、国公立大学では弘前
  大学をはじめとして、北海道大学、北海道教育大学(岩見沢・釧路・函館)、東北大学、宮城教育大学、岩手大学、秋田大学、山形大学、
  千葉大学、新潟大学、国際教養大学、青森県立保健大学、青森公立大学、岩手県立大学、大阪公立大学などに138名が合格しています。
  また、私立大学では、地元大学のほか、東北学院大学、東北福祉大学、明治大学、東海大学、法政大学、東京理科大学、立命館大学など、
  合格者数を増やしております。今後も、生徒一人一人が自分の進路を実現できるよう、生徒・教職員共に一生懸命頑張っていきます。

 ■ 教育課程の特色
 11年生では、生徒全員が芸術の選択を除いて共通科目を履修します。
 22年生では、生徒の個性と適性に合わせ、将来の志望進路に向けて、文系と理系に分かれます。その中で生徒は各自が選択し

   私の高校生活は、学級閉鎖の中で始まりました。だからこそ、                                                                                                                                                                                                                           私が弘前中央高校に進学を決めた最大の理由は「文武両道」を
 友達と話ができる、勉強や部活動ができる、といった普通に生                                                                                                                                                                                                                           モットーに掲げていたからです。入学前、弘前中央高校のパン
 活できることのありがたみを感じてきました。同時に、たくさ                                                                                                                                                                                                                           フレットを開いて「文武両道」という言葉を見つけた時、勉学と
 んのことに悩みながら生活してきました。                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             部活動を両立できるか心配していました。私は、この弘前中央
   高校生になって1番変わったと思うことは、時間を有効活用                                                                                                                                                                                                                           高校で高校生活を送りたいと思いました。実際、この高校なら「文
 できるようになったことです。電車で通学している時間は英単                                                                                                                                                                                                                           武両道」は可能だと思います。友達と切磋琢磨しながら高い目標
 語帳を開くようにしています。10分程ですが、短い時間でも集                                                                                                                                                                                                                           に挑戦する環境も整備されていると感じています。また、何か
 中して覚えることができるので継続しています。部活動との両                                                                                                                                                                                                                           で困ったときに、いつも一緒にいる友達や、同じ目線で考えて
 立に悩むこともありましたが、隙間時間の活用が習慣化された                                                                                                                                                                                                                           くれる先生方が必ず助けてくれます。
 ことで逆に勉強の効率が上がったと感じています。                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       弘前中央高校は探究活動にも力を入れており、総合的な探究
   進路について、将来は教師になろうと考えていたのですが、                                                                                                                                                                                                                           の時間「Sakura Time」では自ら問いを見つけ、その問いの解決
 大学や学びたいことは特に決まっていませんでした。そんな私
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    や探究活動に対し、自ら学び、自ら考え、主体的に判断し、協
 が大学を調べ始め、進路について真剣に向き合うようになった
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    働的に取り組む態度を育てることを目的としています。1年生
 きっかけが「総探」です。弘前中央高校では「Sakura Time」と
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    のころは身近な問いに対して探究しますが、学年が上がるうち
 呼ばれています。「Sakura Time」では、自分が知りたいことを
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    にその問いをより深く掘り下げていくことになります。私は、「弘
 とことん追究することができます。自分が大学で学びたいこと
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    南鉄道を盛り上げよう」というテーマで行いました。利用者減少
 を見つける手がかりになる時間です。私は教育に関連すること
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    問題を解決できるように弘南鉄道に連絡を取り、お話をするこ
 を探究したいと思い、「部活動廃止」についてインタビューを行
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    ともできました。やはり、自分で調べることよりも実際に体験
 いました。はじめは自分で足を運んで体験しなければならない
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    で得た情報の方がより詳しく、信頼できるものだったと思いま
 ことに抵抗がありました。部活動があると、自由に使える時間
 がただでさえ少なく、毎日の授業の予習復習で一杯一杯になっ                                                                                                                                                                                                                           す。また、探究内容としても濃いものになったと思います。
 てしまいがちです。ですが、それを言い訳にせず、自分の力で                                                                                                                                                                                                                             行事内容が充実しているのも弘前中央高校のいいところだと
 約束を取り付けたり質問を考えて聞いたりすることは、インター                                                                                                                                                                                                                         思います。特に中央祭は一番楽しいし、盛り上がる行事です。
 ネットで手軽に調べて終わるよりもはるかに自分自身の知識や                                                                                                                                                                                                                           クラス全員で一から考えた創作ダンスでは、クラスの絆も深ま
 成長になります。                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   り、本番踊り切ったときの達成感は今でも忘れられないほど記
   2年生になって後輩ができ、授業は文理に分かれるなど、今                                                                                                                                                                                                                           憶に残っています。みんなで支え合い、楽しみながら大変なこ
 までとは変わってきています。その中でもっと成長できるよう                                                                                                                                                                                                                           とを乗り越えていく大切さを学びました。
 にやること全て全力で頑張っていきます。                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               私たちはこれからたくさんの困難と戦っていくことになるか
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    もしれませんが、最高の仲間と先生方とで乗り越えていきたい

 生徒会行事の紹介
   弘前中央高校では生徒会執行委員会が、1年を通して様々な生徒会行事の企画・運営を行っています。主な行事を紹介します。
 新年度がはじまり、まず行われるものは「新入生歓迎会」です。新入生の皆さんに向けて、部活動の紹介や執行委員会による学校
 紹介が行われます。各部活動の発表は創意工夫のなされた魅力あるものであり、部活動選びの参考になります。最も活気あふれる、
 学校最大の行事は「中央祭」です。中学校とは比べ物にならないほど多彩で、クオリティの高い企画を楽しむことができます。ク
 ラスの仲間と協力して活動に取り組むことで絆が深まり、たくさんの思い出をつくることができるでしょう。執行委員会では皆さ
 んに行事を楽しんでもらうため、綿密に計画を立て、スムーズな運営を心がけています。一度きりの高校生活、思い出に残る青春
 を一緒に経験しませんか?
 
 
 学校行事等の紹介
   弘前中央高校では「文武両道」をモットーに勉強はもちろん、学校行事や部活動に活発に取り組んでいます。
   運動会と球技大会は、学校全体が盛り上がりクラスの団結力が強まる行事の一つです。準備や練習からクラスで力を合わせ、本
 番で力を発揮できるように、最高のものになるようにと皆が心を一つにします。また、それぞれのクラスでデザインするクラスTシャ
 ツも個性に溢れ、行事をさらに盛り上げてくれます。遠足や修学旅行なども大事な行事です。各学年が分かれて丸一日楽しむ遠足。
 青森を離れ日本の歴史を学ぶ、高校生活の中でかかせない思い出となる修学旅行。どの行事も日常とは違う環境で過ごすことがで
 きる大切な行事です。
   これら盛りだくさんの行事により、弘前中央高校の1年間はあっという間に過ぎていきます。行事が来るたびに高校生活が華や
